Do not book well in advance like we did, we paid over £600 each and a lot of couples paid under £300 each for same trip.
Do not accept cabin 3028,the cabin is next to the steel hydrolic doors that allow the pilot to enter and exit the ship.For 3 nights we were kept awake for nearly 40 minutes each time, the noise is terrible, you cannot sleep through it.
We purchased 4 litre bottles of spirits from duty free.They were all put in one carrier bag, good bit of weight and expensive accedent waiting to happen, i asked for another strong bag to seperate them,all they would give me was a bag you put a box of chocolates in.
All the trips were expensive so we only did the flam railway.
The norwegian fjords are a lovely place to visit and we loved the scenery, i think you had just the right amount of time in each place.
The food on board was very good apart from the breakfast sausage which was tastless and the service very good.
The entertainment crew were excellent especially the russian dancers.
