We had never cruised in the Med before and I had read tons of reviews about the cruise ship before hand. I was rather apprehensive as I had read lots of negative points about the NCL Jade. Some are true but if you are on holiday you cannot let small issues bother you.

We loved our relaxing holiday aboard the Jade and were very sad to leave at the end of the week. We were a group of ten so all had different needs and opinions however we all agreed on some things:

1. The cruise ship is spotless

Cabin 9642

This cabin is close to the aft stairs/elevators but not that close that you hear any noise from the stair well. It was quiet but well located. Not too long a walk to the stairs. The cabin itself was clean and everything was in good working order. We enjoyed the balcony which had two chairs and a small table where we had breakfast one morning. The beds are super comfortable and linen in good condition.

We found the cupboard space good, the light in the cupboard is also a convenient addition. Besides the cupboard there is plenty of shelving and drawer space. The bathroom also has additional shelves next to the mirror and under the sink. The shower door is great instead of a curtain.

The couch, curtain and carpeting were all clean and in good condition.

The only negative is the old TV however this never bothered us as we only watched about 20 minutes of news a day.
