Well here goes for my first ever cruise review!
Arrived at Southampton about 12.15, parked with CPS, very efficient if not a little pricey. Joined large queue but were checked in very speedily! Boarded about 12.45 and began to explore the ship. Decided to go straight to Conservatory for some lunch. Expected it to be busy and it was! However managed to get table and enjoyed chatting to very nice couple from Wiltshire. We went to our cabin and unpacked ready for the sailaway.
At dinner we met our table mates and would like to thank Val & Gordon and Kath and Joan for making our evening meals very enjoyable. Food in the Peninsular restaurant was always good, very nicely presented and good choice. Only criticism would be our waiter was not very smiley and his friendliness seemed a bit forced.
