First of all this was my 12th cruise, the 4th with RCCL. This was my 3rd cruise within the last year. My last cruise was on Explorer of the Seas. Initially I was wondering if I would be disappointed after being on Explorer. Even though Vision is quite smaller, it still was adequate. Embarkation went quite smoothly as we got to the port quite early.

The exterior of the ship looked good as everytime we were in port it was being painted. Some of the carpeting in the public areas looked a bit worn. At times the public restrooms were dirty.

We only ate in the dining room at dinner. We had the early seating. Breakfast and lunch we always had in the Windjammer Cafe. Our waiter and asst. waitress both were from the Philippines. The waiter was adequate, but had no flair. Other waiters were entertaining, but ours was dull. The food was good and always hot. The desserts were good; even the sugar-free desserts were good! I was disappointed the waiters didn't do the parade with baked Alaska. I heard there was an accident. Maybe someone got burned or something.
