We wanted to visit Bermuda and wanted to sail from a port convenient for us. When we found the 8-night cruise to Bermuda, Boston and Newport out of Baltimore on the Enchantment of the Seas it seemed to meet all the criteria.
We read the reviews, realized that this was an older ship due for some refurb but decided to give it a go...
We were very impressed with the staff, food was good (except really not liking the texture of any of roast beef or steak dishes, the ship was kept clean and was comfortable and the other passengers a nice mix to sail with.
Ports were great...in spite of curtailed time on Bermuda due to rerouting to avoid war games on our planned route. Weather was problematic but there was enough to keep us entertained and happy on the ship in spite of some rainy/cold/windy days.
To sum up...a very enjoyable cruise on a nicely matured middle-age ship....think 3 in heels rather than stilettos and you have the picture....
Would we do again? Yes.
