This was our second Royal Caribbean cruise& second to to Bermuda. We had previously sailed on the Explorer of the Seas (a much larger ship). I will be brief & to the point in my review & rankings (1-5 stars).
Ship-3 stars. Older ship that shows some wear. Didn't have a great flow & didn't like that the only place to get a late night snack was in the centurium on the 9th deck in the back of the boat. The enclosed pool area (centurium...adults only area) came in handy on cold / rainy days but get there early order to get a lounge chair. the staff always kept the ship clean & were very cheerful.
Fitness center-3 stars. Small & limited machines.
Staff- 5 stars. Our waiter Abi was amazing & one of the highlights of our trip.
Food- Windjammer 3.5 stars / Main dinning room-4.5
We had originally ordered Kosher food as well. It was gross & disgusting. Royal Caribbean should be embarrassed to serve that crappy (kosher) food to it's passengers. They need to find a new kosher caterer.
Rooms- 3 stars. we had two Ocean view rooms (3122 & 3120). They were small with tiny showers & old analog tv's.
Entertainment- 3.5- The comedian Kivi Rogers was great as was the comedian who juggled. The comedian who used props (like Carrot top) was ok but the last stand up comic from Boston (Don Rickles wannabe) was totally wrong for the cruise crowed & did nothing but insult the audience & curse. There was little variety of shows & night time entertainment options were very limited. The dj's were mediocre at best. The musician in the piano bar was absolutely awful. He had a horrible voice & always sang of key. I would have gladly tipped him...NOT TO SING!
