This was our first cruise, and as such did not have much to compare the ship or entertainment to. I felt like the ship was very nice, clean and a good size. It seemed big, but not so big that it was hard to find each other. The pools were pretty small, but the adult only area was nice. Most of the time the other two pools were full of kids. I thought the water slide was awesome! The food was pretty hit or miss. The breakfast buffet was the saaaaame thing every day. Lunch had a pretty good selection. I felt like the buffet quality was about on par with a university cafeteria or food court at the mall. We ate in the MDR every night for dinner and the quality there was much better. A lot of the desserts were pretty pitiful though. I don't think I tried a single piece of cake or pie that tasted good other than the warm chocolate melting cake in the MDR at dinner. Entertainment was OK. Not a lot of shows. We did the big showtime performances and the comedy shows. The comedians were pretty good except for Diane Ford, supposedly the first lady of comedy. She was funny the first time, but then she just repeated the same jokes! I'm not sure why she did that since she only did a couple shows and most of the people went to all of them. The other shows were all really well done.

Ports:

We didn't book anything through the ship, just kind of went out on our own. Cozumel we rented a jeep and drove around the island to some ruins, a tequila history museum and ate at a nice place on the beach. Belize was pretty awful. You tender ashore which takes a while, but the port itself is kind of nasty and it's one of those places where you have people jumping all over you as soon as you get off. We went outside the cruise area and it was even worse. We tried to go cave tubing but it ended up being closed due to rain the day before and did zip lining instead. Got taken advantage of by one of non-affiliated tour guides (tried to make us pay $200 to drive us an hour away). Wish they skipped Belize and gave us more time in cozumel or honduras. Roatan is the private beach. We spent that day in the cruise area and just enjoyed the beach all day. Best port of call by far. Grand Cayman was raining the entire day so I feel like we really missed out there. Looked like it would have been an amazing place to snorkel.
