From embarkation in Singapore we wondered what we had let ourselves in for.
We were pushed and hassled during check in procedure with other Indian passengers who were travelling in large family groups and did not seem to realise there was a system of checking in in an orderly manner.
In a more positive note the ship and its staff were lovely and our service from staff was excellent. The Italian restaurant was really good but prices were expensive. Also in the general Bona Vista restaurant we were offered a Black Angus steak but had to pay a supplement of $38 Singapore dollars. Also pool Taverna snack bar you had to pay for lunches if eaten here. The itinerary from what we had booked in the UK had been totally changed and we visited different ports from advertised in the brochure
so be warned and get your agent to check this before departure we would not have booked this cruise had we known the destinations. Also shore excursions very disappointing and not value for money.
During sailing time the pool area was very busy and noisy again with the huge family groups taking over the pool deck areas, we retreated to the upper decks for some breathing space. I have never met a group of people who were as rude in all my extensive travelling over the years. This was also the opinion of other Asian and Australian guests on board.
