Our cruise was our 6th with Carnival, and once again we received great value and a great time. VIP embarkation went well, and our cabin was ideal. More important than the cabin, was our cabin steward who took care of the special needs of my wife who needs to keep medication with her that is refigerated and provided us with ice packs to put in our bags for our journey home.
Meals in the Lido deck, the Deli and the Pizza place more than took care of us during the day and dinner in the maid dining room was great. A more than reasonable selection that was served well. The dining room staff not only took care of serving us, but did so in a fun way as well as providing some great entertainment as well.
Our ports: Cozumel, Rotan, Belize, and the Cayman Islands, were fun and gave us an opportunity to shop as well as snorkel and meet some local people and sample some of the local crafts.
If there was glitch it was with the coupon book we purchased as part of shopping at the different ports. Several of the coupons were no longer usable and several of the free gifts were no longer available and according to the merchants had not been available for several weeks. Brook our cruise shopping guide should have let us know about this!
Debarkation also went well and made sure that a great trip did not get caught up in long lines at the terminal.
Thanks Carnival for a great cruise, but do talk to the cruise shopping director.
