Just got off the Liberty on a 7 day cruise. Awesome is the best word to describe it. This was our 14th Carnival Cruise and we love the changes. Guy's Burgers were the best. The Red Frog Rum Bar and the Iguana Bar are both great additions to the pool area. They had a different guy who plays live music throughout the day from both bars switching off every hour. This is much better than all the games that they use to play. They did have a few, but not like they use to. The only complaint that we had was there was no music to be had between 6:00 & 7:00 unless you were at the pool deck.
We can't say much for the food in the dinning room, but that seems to be the case fleet wide any more in our opinion. When we first started cruising the food was to die for, now, not so much. We dined in the steakhouse which was delicious, we highly recommend it.
We went to San Juan, and if you are interested go to the Barcardi Distillery. It is very interesting, but don't take the tour, it costs way to much. We got on the ferry for .50 cents each and then took a cab for $3.00 per person. Round trip cost for 2, $7.00 and the tour is free. Margaritaville, in Grand Turk is a lot of fun, but you have to like the sun, not much else to do there.
