This was our 2nd cruise experience, the first on NCL. The cruise overall exceeded our expectations, not because of NCL but because of the destination. Alaska is the most magnificent place to visit.

We enjoyed all of the ports of call. The train ride from Skagway up into the mountains is just amazing! Glacier Bay is a one of a kind place to see. We have doubts about cruising with NCL again.

The food in most of the restaurants left much to be desired. The "grill" type food was served in such a manor that the meats were cold, and the breads stale. The "premium" restaurants where you pay an add'l amount to eat at just seems wrong to me on a cruise. The others where reservations were required were always booked full. I never could get seated at one. We do not care for the "Freestyle" cruising.
