By prior arrangement on Cruise Critic's Roll Call, we met a couple who were staying at our hotel, Molino Stucky, and shared a water taxi to port.
Embarkation was quick and easy.
After taking our carry-ons to our stateroom we went to Lido for lunch where we ran into our friends from sharing the water taxi. We decided to go into Venice together after lunch. We had a nice time exploring the city and, as a result, we enjoyed doing things together throughout the cruise.
The food was absolutely delicious; in fact, I think it was the best I remember having on a cruise. Service was excellent in the MDR except for the last night - it took well over 2 hours to complete the meal. But, the meal was tasty as ever.
We only took one excursion and that was to Corinth from Athens. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and Corinth was not crowded. At other ports we did it on our own.
I think the itinerary was well planned; except, it would have been nicer to have More more time in Santorini.
We went to two shows in the Showroom at Sea. They have great sets and the singers and dancers are very good. One night the Academy Award Winner for Best Movie, The Artist, was shown in the there. What a comfortable setting for a great movie, and they served popcorn.
The ship was spotless and constantly being cleaned. The crew was friendly. Cruise Director Dan and DJ Mario were hilarious. Enjoyed those trivia contests with them and the game shows. What fun! Tom, the travel guide was quite helpful. We enjoyed his talks about each port.

Only negative to this stateroom was that it was below the pool deck and almost every morning about 6:30 you heard chairs scrape.
Certainly met my expectations
