My wife and I booked the Celebration Cruise to the Bahamas with realistic expectations. We got a great deal on the cruise, and read enough to know it would not be equivalent to the Royal Caribbean cruises we had taken previously. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the cruise and had a great time.

The ship is older than those we had been on, but very clean and well laid out. We got an offer to upgrade to a suite a few days ahead of departure for not much money and we did so. The room was very large and comfortable. The cabin steward was outstanding and very pleasant and service oriented.

The food was good, not great, and the service at the restaurants and throughout the ship was consistently pleasant and responsive. The pool deck was our favorite part of the ship and you could either be in a big party if you wanted to or retreat to a quieter area. Deck chairs were plentiful.
