Have just returned from my 7 night Med Cruise on the Epic. Epic by name and Epic by nature!!
Checking in at Barcelona was effortless and fast - about 15 mins from walking in to joining the Gangway to board. From the moment we stepped foot on the Epic we were made to feel wanted and special. Every member of crew walking around welcomed us on board with a smile and passion. We found our room quickly on deck 11 (right by the lift) and walked in to our Mini Suite with Balcony. Our luggage had not arrived yet but as only checked in 30 mins prior I didn't expect to see it there. We checked around our room to make sure all OK and couldn't believe the space we actually had available. Storage space was immense with nooks and crannies in every cupboard and behind every door!! The room was comfortable and clean. Extra pillows were found inside the settee :)
Food. A gastronomic delight. We ate at Moderno and Le Bistro for speciality nights and by far the best was Moderno. We couldn't move afterwards....
Garden Cafe on Deck 15 was the buffet style and food plentiful and hot.
Drinks - expensive!!
Entertainment was sot on - Blue Men group and Cirque Dreams both being a must.
Casino - takes up most of Deck 6
All in all the ship, its Crew and the surroundings were wonderful.
