Thomson Dream Cruise Review by Tony Ellingham: Caribbean crossing
4 of us have just completed The Caribbean Crossing on Thomson Dream.
Checked our luggage in at Manchester and didn't see it again until we arrived at our cabins.
Flight to Barbados was good, apart from about an hour of turbulence.
Straight off the plane and in to a mini bus, and then to the ship.
Check in was straight forward and quick.
Cabin was bigger than expected, and shower was a good size.
The ship was easier to find our way round than most, with all the entertainment and bars on deck 8.
The food was very good,we ate in the buffet Lido restaurant at breakfast and lunch, and the Orion waiter service restaurant for dinner.
The staff all over the ship were extremely efficient and very friendly.
We arrived in every port on time, and also left on time.
We visited Grenada, St Vincent, St Lucia, St Kitts, British Virgin Islands, St Maarten, and Antigua. This was followed by a 6 day Atlantic crossing, which was fine, and calm.
There was More plenty to do on board, and rather than it dragging, we didn't have time to fit everything in.
We then visited, Madeira, Gibraltar, Tangier, Almeria, and then Alicante in Spain, finally finishing in Mallorca.
Overall, this was the best value cruise that we have been on. Less
