Pleasant surprise with a very good free upgrade from cheapest inner cabin to superior outside cabin and felt optimistic despite reading some of the reviews.Embarkation was spot on. Arrived at the cruise terminal at 12.25 pm and was shown to our cabin by 13. 15 and eating buffet lunch 20 minutes later. The ship, public areas may have been a little dated and worn in some areas but spotlessly clean. The cabin was spotless with a double wardrobe and had a larger en suite than when I cruised with Cunard/ Princess lines. The twin beds were exceptionally comfortable.

Didn't use the main dining room as didn't want to dress up.1 formal night even on a 2 night er cruise ! Buffet was reasonable and fish dishes excellent. The salads did though look like yesterdays veg served up in pasta or mayonnaise. There is cabin service but except for breakfast there is a charge.

Service from staff excellent throughout- all polite and cheerful and greeted passengers when they walked past.

Cabin Review

Cabin 11

cabin 702- great view and just under the bridge. Except for suites none have fridges/ tea making facility. Cabin very spacious and plenty of storage space for longer cruises.En suite a fair size.
