We have just returned from our 15 day Uniworld River Imperial Capitals of Europe Cruise from Vienna to Istanbul. It was amazing! We have travelled extensively over the years and cruised many times but weren't sure what to expect on this smaller river cruise ship. What a wonderful surprise it was to board the ship and see the wonderful facilities that we were to enjoy for the next 11 nights. Our stateroom was spacious and very comfortable with lots of storage space and room under the very comfortable bed to store our cases. The crew were so friendly and efficient and made sure we had a wonderful time both on board and when we went ashore to explore the 6 countries we visited during the cruise. Organisation of excursions was very thorough and the QuietVox system of speakers we were supplied with to enable us to hear every word the local guides had to say were fantastic. As an avid photographer this meant I could wander away from the group to take the special shot and still hear what was being said.

I have Coeliac's Disease and require a Gluten free diet. This was accommodated willingly and without any fuss both on board and when we went ashore for excursions. I was very grateful for this.

We were delighted to be able to bring some friends on board for a meal in Vienna. They were very envious of us about to embark on this fantastic trip and will no doubt recommend it to their friends on their return to Germany.

Cabin Review

Standard Stateroom

Cabin 2

Cabin 307 Very spacious and comfortable. Plenty of hanging and drawer space. Room under bed to store cases. Bathroom a little snug but very functional. Good sized window. Individual air conditioning control in room. Good location. Easily accessible, one small flight of stairs either up or down to each of public areas.
