We took my 86 year old dad on this cruise just for a short holiday. The cabins are fine - nothing out of the ordinary - comfortable beds, lots of storage and hangers - they provide robes but no hairdryers.
Our biggest complaint is the cold food. Unless you were getting a made to order dish - ex. omelet or wok dish - the food is always lukewarm at best. The only thing that stays warm is something that comes in a small little dish - even the water for hot tea was not hot. The iced tea is rather nasty too. The food was surprisingly good - it was just cold. Good breads and desserts - there is low cal food available if you are interested in watching your diet. We wished they had had some snacks out around 10 - you can always get pizza and icy soft serve but some cookies etc would have been nice.
The adult area was nice with nice lounges - there are 2 big hot tubs but a small pool would have been nicer.
Casino was not busy at all - we played blackjack each night - for the most part the dealers were nice. I did not hear anyone winning on the slots. The shows were poor - they had 2 nights that were decent - dancing and singing - but how lame to have one night's entertainment be the guests...cheap and lousy. Lousy comedian - the COwboy comedian was ok - the other was terrible. We liked the Key west stop - had never been before - just wish they had stayed longer. We are tired of the Bahamas and just stayed on board in that port.
Getting on was a big crazy but with all of the people there, we felt it went ok - we carried our own luggage out and that went great - we were on the road by 8:15.
This ship was just boring in our book - not enough going on - but the food is a big issue and needs to be addressed.
