A most entertaining cruise
Being from Ft.Lauderdale we enjoy the perks of being a local.
We booked the Crown as we knew this was the last cruise of the Caribbean season.
We just came on to relax and just enjoy the ship.
The Princess Cay was cancelled due to rough seas and high winds. This was a little disappointing for us as we really just wanted to lay by the pool as the remainder of the people went to the island.
Since the island stop was cancelled we were stuck with an unexpected sea day with 3,300 people fighting for pool chairs.
Because of the extra sea day the ship arrived at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
The ship left at 9:30 p.m. but it seemed most passengers were back on board by 1:00 p.m.
We have been to Curacao and Aruba many times so we just decided to walk around the shopping area of what we call the tourist traps.
There was a gambling group on board and the casino was very buys most of the week.
We usually play some of the slots and the Texas holdem More table.
We ate at Sabatini's and the Steak house this week. The food is always very good with very good service. The remainder of the week we usually ate at the buffet and found the food quality was good as usual.
The entertainment this week was fantastic. Comedians Alfred and Seymour, and the Hypnotist Fernandez did an amazing job. We also enjoyed the Fernandez Relaxation Session. Great! There was another comedian on the last day of the cruise who was very good but his name escapes us.
We only saw one show Motor City with the singers and dancers. It was very entertaining.I wish we had something to complain about but we just don't.
Disembarkation for us is at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday morning and we are home in ten minutes. Less
