Traveled with children

We cruised the Norwegian Gem out of NYC on April 15th with over 1,000 children from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. We think we were the only ones from Maine. Anyway, NCL didn't seem to realize that NY and NJ have school vacations the second week in April, and New England is the third week in April. Lesson learned NCL? - be better prepared next year!

I will start this review by saying we have only cruised NCL - love NCL, and will cruise NCL again. However, this cruise fell short of what we have come to expect from NCL. We were a family of 5 - grandma, wife, me, and our boy 8, and girl 2. Son and grandma in one cabin with 2 twins, wife and I in the other with a king and 2 year old on a bunk above.
