The ship was clean, service was great, cruise director-Papichulo_ great with engaging people in games. The disappointing thing on this cruise was the lack of Nickelodeon activities for kids 10-12yrs old. yes, there were characters when we were in port and 2 times at sea, but there was only 2-30 minute slime game that only required 2 kids. there was not enough of these. After that, the pool games were basically for adults. There was not Nickelodeon theme activities all over the ship as I imagined there would be.
The price I paid for an inside cabin was higher than most cruises but you basically got room and board and cafeteria food for it. The Garden Cafe-was basically cafeteria food. If you wanted something better-I recommend Cagney's Steakhouse-it was fab! the food was real restaurant food but it comes with a cover charge of 25.00 per adult and 12.50 for child.
I was disappointed that 10 pictures from the photographer cost a whooping 115.00! Really, for pictures! The games the kids play are at a charge of 1.50 per game. Yes, all this is added to your room charges. I just thought things were way over priced and I was not happy with the cafeteria food available at the Garden Cafe. I guess the cruise lines have decreased food quality so that your forced to purchase surcharges for better food.
I rather go to an island for 7 days then eat cafeteria food for 7 and pay extrat for everything-yes even pool towels are at a cost. Soda program for 7 days for kids is 34.00 and adults is 47.00. Way overpriced!!
