My husband, two daughters (14,16) and myself just recently returned from the March 12-19 cruise on the Sun. Our first cruise was in Nov 03, we picked NCL because the Freestyle Cruising appealed to us. Since Nov 03 we have taken three other cruise, all with NCL. Two were on the Wind and Nov 04 and this cruise on the Sun. All were to the western Caribbean. We enjoy NCL and have found all of these cruises to have had excellent service and value.

On this cruise we stayed in a BA(003)cabin which we found to be spacious and very clean. There were than enough cupboards, shelves and cubby-holes to fit all our clothes and belongings. All of us overpacked but there was still unused storage. Before we left we got to see a AE mini-suite. The cabin and balcony were a little bigger than ours, but they had a huge walk-in closet-dressing area and very roomy bathroom with tub and shower.

We found the food ranged from very good to excellent. We had all breakfasts and lunches in the Garden Cafe or Great Outdoor Cafe. The only problem we found was at breakfast with the eggs which were horrible. The waffle station was a huge hit and very good. There was an Indian food station at lunch which was also very good. We didn't try any of the specialty restaurants as the food in the main dining rooms was very good. Three of the dinners were outstanding. We had dinner anywhere from 6:00 to 7:30 PM and never had to wait in line. Some of the waiters were friendlier than others but all were polite and service was excellent. Midway through the cruise, we tried the Las Ramblas Tapa Bar which serviced hot and cold tapas - every night the menu changed and there was no charge for this restaurant.
