Sail Date: Apr 2012

We sailed out of Ft. Lauderdale on Equinox, April 6th, 2012. As usual boarding with Celebrity was a breeze. It was no more than 15 minutes from dropping our baggage with the attendants to our "Welcome Aboard" champagne. Disembarking was the same, quick and efficient.

We had a 1A Stateroom with Veranda on Deck 8 and it was everything we expected. Our previous cruise was to Alaska in 2009 on Mercury and this was definitely a step up. The room was the same size, but with nice appointments,a much larger deck, a glass enclosed shower and lots of storage space.

We skipped one of the evening shows; it was a female comedienne who came with a "not for children" label for the regular scheduled evening shows. It was not something we cared for. Another entertainer, billed as an "Impersonator/comedienne" was on one evening. She impersonated some and honored others, but she didn't tell us which she was doing. Many people just walked out. The remainder of the shows were top notch and we were suitably impressed.
