We took the train to San Diego and walked two blocks to the cruise terminal. HA has sent an. Email notifying us of the delayed embarkation. HA had a shuttle to Seaport Village to give those interested something to do while waiting. Also HA provided beverages and lite snacks (sandwiches & cookies).
The ship was under code red for the first 12 days, which I didn't mind since it was for the health and safety of the passengers.
The crew were exceptional - providing wonderful opportunities for enjoyment and entertainment. DJ Maek with his line dancing lessons, name that tune, and bingo; Lifesttylisr Jay with his endless choices of exercise: aqua aerobics, sit and be fit, deck walk, and tai chi; Jillian with her party planner activities: crafts, cooking demos, food trivia and stage competitions; Librarian David provided excellent quizzes in the AM and book club; Techspert Krista was an awesome teacher. The captain was informative and had a nice sense of humor.
Verandah on deck 9 -excellent location, plenty of room, nice balcony. Windows throughout the ship could have cleaner.
