We just finished our second cruise on the Oasis and loved it just as much this time as the last time! It was nice going a second time because we knew the ship this go around and had all of our favorite places figured out! We stayed in Ft. Lauderdale the night before our cruise and ate at a restaurant called The Rustic Inn and had great crab and shrimp for dinner. It is a very casual place and we enjoyed the food a great deal!

Once again we had no trouble getting our sea passes. We were in and out of that area within 15 minutes and off we went to get on the ship! This area is very well organized! We were able to get on the ship around 11:30 and were told our rooms would be ready about 1:00 which they were. Our luggage arrived shortly before our dinner reservation which was at 5:45. If it doesn't arrive before dinner don't worry. They are pretty understanding of what people are wearing knowing they might not have gotten their luggage yet. Just don't plan to wear a bathing suit in the dining room!

We had great food and service no matter where we ate! We did eat at Giovannis and Johnny Rockets for lunch on two of the days and ate at the Park Cafe the other days for the famous roast beef sandwich! We ate at Chops Grille for dinner one night and the Opus dining room the remaining nights. We did the My Time Dining as that worked out best for our schedule with the excursions and shows we had reserved.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin I

Our cabin was located in a quiet area (no one across from us, not near the elevators or stairs). We felt the room was of adequate size! You can store your luggage under the bed so that makes for more room. We liked this deck area because it was close enough to the pool deck to use the stairs if you'd like and with the elevators it is easy to access the other neighborhoods down below.
