By itself, the Allure is packed with a great variety of venues for its guests. In combination with a crew that clearly strives to deliver the opportunity for happiness and relaxation to each individual, our visit was enjoyable. Captain Johnny's log is delightful as is his sense of humor.

Having programs to aid "make a wish" and the Royal 5 K are the reason we are looking already to book our next cruise on RCCL. By the way having crew members participate was fantastic!

Naturally, while we were delighted, there are a opportunities for some modest improvements. Alas, this reviewer is an Engineer, and we always see such opportunities.

Cabin Review

11620: Nicely appointed. Balcony great, furniture very good. Could have used a better temp control and a switch to turn on the announcements we heard in the aisle, but not in our room. Temperature adjust on shower a bit challenging. water from tap tastes terrible. Can there be an option to not have anything in the mini-fridge from the start? Closet too narrow to avoid smashing clothes, but maybe we had too many. Hangers would be better with bigger hooks as they tended to fall off the rail. Safe is great, but things can fall behind it and are hard to recover. It was maybe one shelf too high for my wife. Lighting very good. Master switch was a bit of a mystery. we did not realize it would shut off the A/C. TV great. Desk adequate. Bed very comfortable. Sofa likewise. Shower size fine. Sink did not drain very well, but we liked its appearance and size very much. Overall, bathroom very well done and with the stewards attention, it worked great. we've been on ships with very poor shower interfaces, thanks for this one being so nice!
