Carnival Liberty Western Caribbean 7-day: Mostly Excellent
Embarking was rather painless process, quick and efficient even after one couple in our line ended up having 4 agents assist them for whatever reasons that tied up our 'station' line for about 10+ mins.
The ship was absolutely beautiful, clean and friendly staff.
Casino staff: Very personable, friendliest of staff ever witnessed in a casino. Get to know your pit bosses, casino & shift supervisors, bar staff and dealers. Friendliness begets friendliness.
Steward and housekeeping: Pleasant and enjoyable.
Shops were nice with again, great staff.
Food and beverages: All the bars, eateries, food stations on the lido deck were fabulous selections. Only downside to the buffet were the eggs in the AM were a bit watery and most foods were warm instead of piping hot. Sushi, buffets, Guys Burgers, Blue Iguana Cantina were all great food and fun hangouts. Bottomless Bubbles was a great investment.
Entertainment: The on-board entertainments More were great. Karl with a K is an exquisite cruise director, Piano man Bob was entertaining and great with getting the crowd engaged, Punchliner comics were great the first half of the cruise, did not care for the second string comics the later part of the cruise. Atrium singer and entertainment were good, she needed to let loose a little and get excited about her songs instead of just singing them. Peter Gross the magician and comic was great. Again, excellent entertainment.
Dining room staff: Slow due to not properly staffed. Bar orders, even soft drinks, were slow to get delivered after ordering. Sometimes it felt like they had to go to other end of the ship to get your beverage order unless it was tea or water. Time between courses were slow and timely, again, due to not properly staffed. Our table assignment got changed 4 times due to various reasons. It was irritating dining table assignments changes and yet humorous as well.
It was spring break, lots of "I'm entitled to my spring break fun" teens and pre-teens with mentalities and attitudes on the ship.
200-300 20-30yr old Singles on the ship that kept calling it 'their Singles cruise ship'. It wasn't a take-over of singles. Again mentalities, some singles acted worse than the teens and pre-teens in maturity.
Smokers, loud neighbors, chair hogs and balcony door slammers:
Smokers didn't pose an issue to us being non-smokers except the bar at the front entrance of the casino.
Loud neighbors: Couple of times I wanted to knock on their door and say shhhh.
Chair hogs: I have no issue with them, my take. You may 'reserve' your chair but if I am looking for a chair for myself and/or spouse or friend and their are obviously no 'usage activity', it's mine. Sorry, I can move if needed. But when it comes to an unused chair, I will not circle an area like a hawk looking for prey as I search for a chair.
Balcony door slammers: (the ones that allow the door to go from open to air-suction slam close as they enter or exit their balcony) This only caused an issue once or twice at night or early AM during sleep that sounded like WWI cannons going off but it was irritably tolerable. Less

Cabin review: Carnival Liberty Balcony Verandah 8327
We love to be located a couple+ floors from dining, entertainment, casino and a floor or 2 from the main lido deck. We were just down the hall from the stairs and elevators... perfect again. Cabin had a couple of issues with drawers off the tracking but all in all, great cruise and room.
