Our family went on our first cruise this year. We selected the Star based on the timing of spring break and the ports. We were excited about Honduras and Belize. We enjoyed each stop, but did learn things along the way.

First, consider the start time each excursion you are signing up for! We were traveling with teens and would have liked to start our tours later in the day. We all needed more sleep.

Second, do not book anything over 4 hours that includes bus, boat and lots of travel time. We went on an excursion to the Mayan Ruins at Lamanai. Nice idea, but it required 1 1/2 hours by bus, 1 hour by boat just to get there!

Family Penthouse with Large Balcony

Great Two Bedroom Family Suite that was very comfortable for our family. The living room and dining areas were quite large and the balcany with lounge chairs were like an extra living space. Bed in master was better than our bed at home!
