Ship Facts: Majesty of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Majesty of the Seas Deck Plans
Excellent weekend on the Majesty !
My partner I sailed on the three night Majesty cruise March 30-April 2. This was our third time on the ship. Our two previous cruises were 4 nights May 2000 and September 2009. The ship is still a Royal Caribbean classic beauty after almost twenty years. We booked only several days ahead and were able to take advantage of an incredible Florida resident/senior rate. For $578.00 ocean view stateroom for both of us you could not find a better value on a weekend getaway. Add to that the benefits of Crown and Anchor Diamond status you could reduce the cost in half.

We were one of the first to board the and ship and the first at the Windjammer when it opened at 11:30.As always with any Royal Caribbean cruise the selection of food was very good, tasty, fresh and the Gold Anchor service was terrific.

Our ocean view stateroom 4560 was in excellent condition. Looked practically brand new. The sweetest stateroom attendant Aloisa, took care of our requests quickly and with a smile. We did not check any luggage so we were unpacked and out by the pool enjoying the sailing day excitement with the rest of the guest's who i would say were mostly Floridians. We went to the bar for some beers and again friendly smiling crew welcomed us aboard and who remembered our names for the rest of the trip. After the muster drill and once underway we just wandered around the outer decks enjoying the sun and cool sea breeze.

We had late sitting 9pm in the MDR so there was plenty of time time take advantage of the nightly Diamond Event in the Viking Crown Lounge. This is where your loyalty to Royal Caribbean really pays off. You could literally drink half the cost of your cruise fare in complimentary champagne. Use the 2 buy one get one drink coupons, free photo coupons, three $5 casino matchplay coupons etc. etc. and the value of this classic Royal Caribbean weekend cruise is unbeatable. Excellent food, stellar service from the dining room wait staff is what you will get consistently on any Royal Caribbean ship. If for any reason you do not agree with this statement it is only because you did not speak up. Ask and you will receive. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of activities offered on this short cruise. How the cruise staff fits in seven days of shipboard fun in three is amazing.

Our first port was Coco Cay. Tendering quick and easy. The island offers a pristine classic Bahama Out island beach day. Beautiful clear cool water, swaying palms, cold tropical drinks, attentive staff, water activities for all ages. The Crown and Anchor event at the new viewing deck was the highlight of our day. Champagne cocktails, Mimosas and hot and cold snacks were in abundance. We especially enjoyed chatting with some of the ships' officers.

The next day was Nassau. While most guests spent the day at Atlantis or on a beach and snorkel excursion we stayed on the ship for most of the day. had a terrific lunch at the Compass Deli. We did go over to Senior Frogs for a bucket of beer and to get the magnificent view of the Majesty from a waterfront table. She is a true classic beauty.

The last evening we enjoyed wining in the casino, sunset in the Viking Crown Lounge, the standing ovation at farewell show and a slow stroll around the ship to say so long to the beautiful classic Majesty Of The Seas.
