We arrived at Port Everglades from our flight from Baltimore around 11:30am and were in our cabin within a hour. Our veranda stateroom was perfect with ample storage and closet space. Our luggage fit under our bed. I had ordered a beer package and a bottle of Bailey's as going away gifts for my husband's birthday and they were in our room waiting for us upon arrival. The Bailey's was nice to have as a pre-dinner cocktail on our veranda, watching the sunset before heading to dinner each night. Life doesn't get much better than relaxing, watching the sun set, feel the mild warm breezes and sipping Bailey's.
We also found several welcoming notes and birthday greetings from the ship as well. Our luggage was waiting for us when we came back from lunch-the quickest arrival I've seen with any of our cruises.
All the ports were great; snorkeling in Turks was awesome, walking Old San Juan was a memory builder as we were able to find the entrance to the old cemetery next to El Morro (very sacred space)and leisurely walk among the marble and granite statues and grave sites. Since we've been to St. Martin twice, we enjoyed the day taking the water taxi into town and walking the "boardwalk" and taking a dip at the beach near the taxi dock...can't get any easier.
