Service is incredible. Ship is new and has a great flow.
Main Dining Room; Our wait team was exceptional. Anticipated your every need, and keep the meal flowing. Asked you several times through out the meal if you needed anything.
Buffet Area; Really like the layout, where there are several serving islands instead of a few long serving lines. Large and small plates instead of trays, easier to carry and you didn't see the typical overloaded trays on "other lines". The food was just better then all I've had and you didn't need to go up several times just to find out whats good to eat. It was all good! We ate about half our dinners here, and noticed the Executive chef up every evening. He supervised the operation and joked with his staff. Everyone really seemed to enjoy their job. The deserts were on par or better then the main dining room.
Room Steward; Like a ghost. Asked for an extra blanket after the first night, got it and didn't need to ask for anything else. Room was always kept spotless.
Best Activities; Glass blowing! 3 really talanted artists on board. They raffle off pieces after the shows and my wife was lucky enought to win one. She loves it. Dance classes. Ballroom and modern line. Lounging around the solarium. Nice air conditioned space, very relaxing.
Most interesting Bar; If you do enjoy a coctail, visit the Molecular bar on deck 5. $12 will seem cheap after you taste one of the fantastic coctails made with no mixers, top shelf liquor and all fresh, organic produce. Incredible. The concept creator Junior Merino aka the Liquid Chef was onboard that week and there were demonstrations and tastings everyday at 5pm.
General Observations; Quite in the hallways, respectful guests. People were really friendly. Smoking restrictions on the balconys were observed.
Shows; Nothing to write home about.
Other music; Really enjoyed the ships "Party Band" Southside. The male and female vocalists had impressive voices. They performed a mixture of pop songs at poolside and in the central atrium before dinner.
Dress code for dinner; It does state smart casual for the dinner buffet, but half the folks wore shorts, so if you don't feel like dressing up you won't feel out of place in the buffet. Folks do stretch the dress code for dinner with jeans in the main dining room, but its few and far between.
