Embarkation: Getting on the ship was a breeze. We stayed the night before at the Hyatt Place and it was wonderful. We purchased a ticket to get to the ship for $8 each and they brought a huge bus. We traveled to Port Everglades and then started the process. What they do not tell you is that when you are in line to go through security there are 5 lines! So make sure you don't just stand there...get in line!
We were on the ship by 12:30 and they said our room would not be ready until after 1:30...but we had to check..it was ready! Matthew was our room steward and he was amazing...anything that we needed he got for us! We had room 7435..it was a balcony towards the back of the ship. At first it smelled like gas fumes...but after a day it was all cleared up!. The location of the room was great.
Two days at sea! No problems...food was good, but the food was GREAT at the Steakhouse...it was 5 star all the way! I recommed that you go there at least once, while it More is $60 it is totally well worth it!
St. Thomas--we decided that we were not going to take a cruise excursion..instead we got a cab right off the pier for $8 each and headed to Megan's Bay! We got there early...totally well worth it! We also brought a sheet! That way we would not have to pay for chairs because there is shade there! I recommend that you get there early because it does get crowded! Take some snorkles and goggles...the water is amazing here! Also, on your way over you get some pretty cool pictures of the island and the ships! We stayed until about noon then took a taxi back into town. We were going to take the gondola up to the top..but since we saw the top from our taxi we did not do it. We ate at Shipwrecks...it was great food and great service. We shopped at Havensight mall...it was great then back on the ship!
Antigua--we stayed here on our honeymoon so we went back to Dickerson Bay! It was beautiful! Did a little shopping and then back on the ship!
Tortola--we went to the Baths...heard great reviews and to be honest it was ok...but just a bunch of rocks...we took the ferry over it was $78 round trip for two through Speedy's. Then took the taxi to the baths...if you go make sure that you go thorugh the baths first not Devil's bay...you cannot go through the cave that way...well you can but you are going opposite of 100 or so people...so just be patient and go down the path to the bath's.
Bahamas--it was just ok...i do not recommend going to the public beach...go take the $3 ferry over to paradise island and find a better beach! It was pretty, but be prepared to pay a lot of money what you want! Except the straw market!
Overall, the trip was great a little long, but the ship was nice, people were always great, food is good and ports were great! I recommend this ship for anyone! Less
