We had a great experience in the Port Everglades cruise ship terminal.  The porters were helpful and not pushy.  We boarded the ship in a very timely manner.  All staff for Celebrity were helpful.  The terminal was close to our hotel, so we didn't have a long drive to get their or to get to the airport.

St. Thomas

We hired a private taxi to take us to a lovely beach to snorkle.  The taxi driver recommended the beach and the beach club.  Beach club was as nice as any 5 star property.  Drive was wonderful and driver was informative about the island.  Taxi very clean and driver was back to pick us up at the agreed upon time.    We shopped a bit in the afternoon and went to eat in one of the local restaurants where we met the owner.  Balboa was the name of the restaurant.  Food was good, and staff very friendly and helpful.

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

We found the taxi drivers here very pushy and all tried to get the customers to go into their cab even though it appeared they all worked for the same company.  We wanted to get going but they had to wait for a full van full and we were stuffed in like sardines.  We wanted to go to a beach, and had one in mind, but were told by the driver that the beach was better for snorkeling than the one we picked.  We were disappointed when we got there as the facilities were not very clean, and the beach had a lot of rough waves and seaweed.  Driver was back for us at the appointed time and drove a bit through the town and told us a bit about the countryside.  Don't think we had a very good overview of Barbados as the area we saw close to the cruise ship appeared to be very rundown and dirty.  We did a bit of shopping at the markets near the ship, and returned to the ship later in the afternoon.  Duty free Mount Gay rum was $23.80 per bottle on land.  We purchased one as the ship didn't have any onboard prior to our stop.  When we left Barbados, duty free on board had the same rum for $13.00 per bottle.  Would have been nice to know that they were going to stock up in Barbados, but all in all rum was still reasonable on land.  Shopping was pretty good in the port.  Would like to return to Barbados and see more of it, as don't feel we really saw the true Barbados in this port.

Barbados

Took a private taxi to Orient Beach.  Taxi driver dropped us off at Sexy Fruits area.  Each area of the beach has its own bar and different prices for rental of chair, umbrella, drink, etc.  We were charged $8 a person for chair and umbrella.  Beach could have been cleaner and they didn't seem to rake the seaweed as much in this area.  As you walked to the right of Sexy Fruits towards the nude beach, the prices dropped to $7 and $5 for chairs, drink, and washroom facilites.  The washrooms at Sexy Fruits leave a lot to be desired and there is no water pressure in the shower area.  We didn't know alot about this beach when we went here for the morning so next time we would pay more and go to a better part of the beach where there is less seaweed and better facilities.  In the afternoon we took the water taxi  to the shopping area.  Great way to get around.  We met a friend who took us to the Sunset Bar and Grill near the airport that has the planes that fly in over the beach.  Quite a tourist area, and watching the crazy people being blown in the water from the backlash of the airplanes taking off was interesting.  A pretty island.  Lots of yachts, and good shopping.  We didn't have much time to shop as we did some touristy things instead, but did pick up a nice underwater camera for a good price.

St. Maarten

Great bus driver, funny, and polite.  Stopped when possible for views of Charlotte Amalie and Magen's Bay.  Waited with bus until excursion was finished and continued to Pier.

Had two great guides.  Jefferson and Cory.  Very funny, helpful and made sure you were safe.  A great snorkeling adventure and also a good taxi driver to take us to the location.  Saw lots of the countryside, very poor areas, and the beautiful rainforest.  Would highly recommend this tour if you can lift yourself on and off the little Fun Cats.  And snorkel for 45 minutes or so.  Lifejackets were mandatory for the boat ride but not mandatory for the snorkle.

We loved our cabin location.  When we booked we tried to pick adjoining cabins but none were available so we were able to join the decks with two cabins side by side.  Rooms 9350 and 9352.  We were not all that far from the elevators.  Elevators in a good location on the ship.  Lots of storage, lots of hangers, large bathroom with good size shower.  Our cabin had the coach next to the window, 9352 had the coach next to the closet.  We did like the coach next to the window better.

A good size balcony and a great size room.The open air bus picks you up very close to the ship and you go up into the Mountains and get a great view of Magen's Bay as well as Charlotte Amalie.
