Ship Facts: MSC Fantasia Review (by Cruise Critic!) | MSC Fantasia Deck Plans
Great value for money
the fantasia is without a doubt a beautiful ship, and for what we paid we had an excellent first experience with MSC.

we embarked at tenerife, arrived at the ships ramp at 13 hrs,as our friends parked and opened the boot our cases were collected there and then,we walked to the security check produced our reservation and were escorted up to accounts, credit card swiped, photo,s taken keys handed to a steward and we were escorted to our cabin, door opened for us a quick guide of cabin and we were in a total of ten minutes, and no more than ten more minutes and our cases were delivered.the best embarkation we have ever had but to be fair only about 25 passengers got on here in a 4 hour period.

the ship is lovely, cabins spacious, toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, and soap all provided.

food was of a good standard, buffet not the hottest but loads of choice for breakfast and lunch, took evening meals in red velvet, where upon arrival with maitre d were given choice of sharing a table,or not,we chose our own table, and were treated by great service and excellent food, and an attentive head waiter.

shows were great if not a bit of all the same dance and song, but given that they are catering for different languages this was acceptable, sometimes a little short of 35 mins which is a shame that the superb theatre was only getting about an hours use a day.

bar service was good,as was entertainment in the same.

public areas were always being cleaned and the ship was in beautiful condition.

now a couple of negatives, smoking areas were far too many, and too get to the theatre you had to walk through a cloud filled casino..

the multi national new cruising nations, they pushed, barged pulled, and jumped in front at every opportunity, the worst of any cruise we,ve ever been on,if you reckon you,ve battled with the worst germans and italians wait till you meet up with the russians, turks, and iranians.

but all in all a GREAT cruise,on a lovely ship complimented by good food and service,at this price you get what you pay for if you,re looking for the very best then pay four times as much and you,ll get it.
