Not the Best Cruise but Still Enjoyable

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Rhapsody of the Seas

I am a Diamond member on RCCL and usually have a wonderful experience but this was not the best cruise of my life. We found the music so loud in the Centrum that we were not able to converse with our friends on any of the open decks surrounding the centrum or talk with the people at the Shore Excursion Desk or Guest Relations. Also at the check in at the pier in Tampa after we had completed our ...

Great ports and a fun and easy ship to navigate!

We choose this cruse for the ports mainly, but also wanted to see how the smaller ships were. This was the smallest ship we have ever been on. I loved how easy it was to get from one side of the ship to the other! We have been on the larger ships like the Oasis and the Allure which definitely have a lot to offer, but to go from dinner to a show at night is a trek across the whole ship. I also ...

A cruise is what you make it. I can't understand why some people would want to ruin their vacation by arguing or looking for problems. There are a couple of things people might want to do to make their cruise more fun. Leave your politics and bad attitude at home. You're on vacation so relax. Nothing is perfect, so overlook the small stuff. Sure there are some problems that need to be ...

To be honest, we took this cruise to get the last 7 days of sailing to achieve Diamond member status in the Crown and Anchor Society. Departing from Tampa was convenient and allowed us to visit family members nearby. The mission was to rest and relax and we achieved it! We had not been to Belize or Costa Maya before and thought it would be fun to see different western Caribbean ports. Weather ...

This ship was an excellent choice! 6 girlfriends in three different rooms. The ship offered us the best pampering we could have asked for. From Spa services, to excellent food, the best attendant I could have asked for and sooo much fun stuff to do aboard! We went to several of the ships broadway productions, an indoor pool with live music, game shows that took place during the day with audience ...

Very pleasant cruise week

Very pleasant experience on second Rhapsody sailing even, this time in a deck 3 outside, rather than last time in a Royal Suite. We've sailed some 30 days on sister ship Vision. Food quality, variety, preparation and presentation was one of the best we've seen on RCL. Very attentive cabin steward. Deck 3 aft cabin is somewhat noisy when side thrusters run early in the morning and when ...

We booked this cruise because friends had booked it and we decided to tag along. I wish I would have done better research...... I can't figure out why this ship was rated 4 stars.... I would not give it one. Where to begin.... This ship is small and tired. Decor is dated and it is definately showing it's age. Entertainment is poor at best and the dining experience was TERRIBLE! The buffet ...

We had an amazing trip, the crew was very welcoming and friendly. Lots to do onboard. One member of our travel group did an intro to scuba shore excursion in Cozumel and I did a Zipline shore excursion in Belize and they were both AMAZING! Kind and clear explanations made us feel comfortable trying something new in a new place. Getting on and off the ship at each port was a breeze and the ...

Rhapsody is a great size ship, intimate areas and great staff and service. No long lines, our MDR wait staff was awesome and our cabin steward was so attentive and helpful. Shows were ok and cruise director was ok. Always able to find something good on the menu to eat and the Windjammer was also great the times we went there. All in all another great cruise with Royal. We had an inside cabin ...

40th on Rhapsody

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Rhapsody of the Seas

As the title indicates, I went on the Rhapsody to celebrate my 40th birthday. I was drawn to this cruise as Tampa is an easy drive for me, the price was great, and the itinerary included Key West (a place that I have always wanted to visit). The itinerary was great. I got to visit Key West, Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Belize. The ship is an older and smaller ship as others have mentioned. ...
