I've never been disappointed with a ship experience when cruising on any cruise line until now. I was shocked at our room. It was like a closet! No fridge/mini bar, no outlets anywhere except the vanity area (not near the bed or in the bathroom!). Couldn't even get around the bed to crawl in. I immediately asked to purchase an upgrade, but nothing was available. Husband is diabetic and needed a ...
We had such a great time. Everyone were so friendly. Every morning greeted by the best coffee and orange juice. Loved the adult salt water pool, very peaceful with a bar service and food available. The trivia games were such great fun, made new friends every game.
We took 3 classes; the sushi making class, the champagne brunch and tour of Edelweiss restaurant, and wine tasting and pairing. ...
We decided to take this cruise on Rhapsody of the Seas because it was out of Tampa, near where we live and thought it would be a nice relaxing 7 night cruise. For the most part, embarkation and disembarkation went good. We used a porter for our luggage at disembarkation and we were able to bypass the lines and get straight to customs and immigration and right out of the terminal.
The Good, Bad ...
Tampa was nice. Stayed at marriott waterside. Pool was great. It is walking distance to lots of restaurants/bars and the port. We came in a group of 10. Cost for this cruise was good but wont choose this one again. The itinerary was good. There were some nice staff. Food frequently cold, below average compared to carnival and norwegian. Even the pizza was horrible. Overcooked every day. ...
This was our first cruise and it was a 7 day cruise on Royal Caribbean’s “Rhapsody of the Seas” ship. We started in Tampa, Florida. We stopped in Key West, Cozumel, Belize and Costa Maya. The staff were all so friendly. Our cruise director, Elvis Pinto was hilarious and made our first cruise so much fun! The food was delicious. Our waiters in the main dining room were so personable and friendly. ...
I Sailed with Royal Caribbean before and was not disappointed. This cruise was also a great experience with plenty to do on and off the ship. The staff is very attentive and friendly. They treat you like royalty. The activities team is awesome and the games are fun. Plenty to do and everyone is invited to participate. I love to dance and let’s just say the music was not disappointing. The shows at ...
What a great week we had. After a rocky start with a cold front passing through Tampa causing high winds, sideways rain, tornado warnings during muster and a 2 hour delay, we were finally off to better weather. The seas were a bit rolling the first and last day, but didn't notice much on Deck 4 mid ship
My first opinion of the ship when we entered was, wow, this kind of looks old. But as the ...
Crew was in general nice. Food was average for me but my husband thought it was pretty good and flavor full. nice to have lobster night. Port of call was just that. Cabin was nice & plenty of storage. No fridge. My husband ordered a cake for our anniversary. Out of the package, only half the package made in on time however, cake was fantastic wish could have enjoyed it longer however since we did ...
I'm glad I tried this ship if only to learn what doesn't suit my interests. It's a smaller, less expensive ship that is very attractive to older travelers trying to get points. The downside is that there are a lot of Pinnacle members with small cabins who just hang out all the time in the Concierge Club where there's not much seating so they can get free food and booze. In the Schooner Bar, a ...
Every thing was good over all there were an exception. The refrigerator did not work. I needed it for my insulin. Housekeeping had to keep it and I had to call to get it. They never took the refrigerator out to fix it. They just left it in the room. They said all refrigerators were taken.Next if you get the non alc drink package you can't get non alc beer. They said since it has .05 alc. you can't ...
