This was our first Viking cruise and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We added two days at the beginning and end of the cruise. I definitely recommend the extra days up front because of jet lag. We have sailed a number of Viking river cruises but this was our first ocean cruise. Suffice it to say - we rebooked the same ship and the same stateroom for a 2021 Viking Homelands cruise. Loved the ship but went on so many land excursions that we didn't have enough time aboard to enjoy all the ship had to offer. Always wanted to do a Med cruise and when we saw the itinerary it hit all the spots on our bucket list. What was even better our Nephew and his wife live in Barcelona so we added a couple of nights on the front end to visit and explore the city. We also added nights on the end in Venice.
