I was with swing dance friends. We chose this ship because we live in Baltimore and wouldn't have to fly. We could also dance every night. For the price, it was very nice (you don't pay for a Chevrolet and get a Cadillac). Here's the good: ... Read more

To be fair I have only cruised on Royal Caribbean and the majority of those sailings have been on Grandeur of the Seas. Last year I noticed some wear on the ship, it seemed as if general upkeep was not as ongoing as it had been in the ... Read more

Hopefully R/C Grandeur is going to get a refit or makeover in March-April '17. The cabin furniture, mattress, and wear items are starting to show its age and are in need of replacement. Additionally, Grandeur needs a paint job ... Read more

We selected Royal because of the proximity to the port and ease of boarding. Check in was extremely easy this time.... Our first meal on the ship was not good, but we ate with friends who wanted to eat at 8:30. Once we went on our own ... Read more

Ship is 20 years old and shows it. But that doesn't begin to show how Royal Caribbean is falling down on their promises of WOW ! We have been on 30 cruises of which 8 were RC's, and 6 were on this ship "The Grandeur of the Seas". ... Read more

This cruise was a great price for us, since we could drive to Baltimore, saving the cost of flights. We knew the first & last days of the cruise would be chilly & we can never complain about the weather. The food was good, we ... Read more

We like to sail from Baltimore and the Grandeur is the only ship of the Royal Caribbean fleet that sails from that port. It is only three hours but we go the day before and stay at the Best Western, part the car and use their shuttle ... Read more

The service and staff on this ship were exceptional. Eveyone was friendly and courteous. Attention to detail was above par. Michael Landry was the hotel manager and he runs a tight ship. He is visible and cares about what the ... Read more

Usually love sailing with Royal Caribbean, but the Grandeur of the Seas has seen better days. The food was "meh" and the service in the dining room was so slow that even though we had dinner at 5:30pm, we were never done in time ... Read more

We took a Grandeur of the seas 9 night out of Baltimore. We did this primarily because of the driving distance from Ohio. Getting onto the ship was very easy and convenience. The best embarkation to date. We have been on 5 cruises to date ... Read more

Cruised to Charleston, Port Canaveral, Miami, Nassau from 10/22/16 to 10/31/16. As always Baltimore was great as a cruise port. Even though the fact that it's 15 minutes from my house is a major factor in liking Baltimore, the staff from ... Read more
