We're a couple in our mid- to late-30's, have cruised Royal 5 times now and have been on Norwegian, Princess, and Carnival in the past. This ship leaves the Baltimore cruise port, one of my favorites. It's so easy to get in, park, and ... Read more

We feel that this cruise targets mainly for senior people. Its size is relatively small (1960 passengers on board our cruise, the total capacity is slightly above 2000). During our trip, there were around 70 kids on board, which according ... Read more

This review is slightly off-base from my normal reviews. This is my first solo cruise ever and probably my last, but through no fault of Royal Caribbean for the most part. Also, this is my second time on the Grandeur of the Seas. The ... Read more

We initially chose this cruise based on price. After going on the cruise, I would definitely pick it based on the service you get from the staff. Always smiling and extremely attentive to your needs. Airy and Toni were exceptional ... Read more

Older ship, hasn't been updated in a while=necessary Ports of call aren't bad until you see where you are docked=Orlando=terminal with no shops, food, wi-fi; and the closest are 1-1&1/2 miles away-may be better for RCL to sell ... Read more

We have sailed on RC 4 times. We opted for this 12-day cruise to escape from PA winter weather. The negatives - the lifeboat drill was pathetic. Could not hear the instructions, could not see the demonstration. If there had been an ... Read more

WE chose this cruise because of the convenience of the port and also for the price and itinerary. We went to the Southern Caribbean which was wonderful. There could have been less sea days but we still had fun while we were at sea. ... Read more

This was my second time on the Grandeur and it was better than the first. We live in Baltimore so getting to and from the port was a breeze. We left Baltimore a few hours late due to the weather and I would rather be safe and comfortable. ... Read more

I have been cruising Grandeur since 2/14 (11 cruises). I have to say the Windjammer has improved greatly. The variety and quality of food is impressive. Every day for lunch and dinner there is a different theme besides the old American ... Read more

The pressure to "spend more" on this or that was all encompassing. Embarkation and disembarkation went fairly smoothly. Our cabin steward Irwan Sanusio was outstanding as were our usual dining room waiters, Joseph and Rian. Shows ... Read more

The Grandeur of the Seas is a nice ship. Not a great ship. Well, it’s 20 years old. And though there have been updates, its showing its age. Although not a major distraction, I did note a large rust stain in my cabin window. It ... Read more
