The Old School Ship of the Seas should be the name. The actual ship. Needs a paint job and renovations but has a lot of smiling faces on board with the best customer service.

The best thing about this cruise was the cabin. It was quite comfortable and spacious. Although the furnishings weren't the most modern, it was very well maintained and clean. The service was hit or miss. Sometime good other time exceptional and then other time quite bad. I don't understand why there was always a long line to get into the main dining room when there were set time for dining ...

Stayed at the Port of Miami Holiday Inn prior to the cruise. Great shopping across the street. Getting on the ship was fast and easy. All crew and employees were wonderful. All the food was delicious, in both the MDR and Windjammer. Did not get to experience Chops this time. Didn't go to many shows, but what I did see was very good. I was on for Halloween and the show and parade were awesome. ...

Wanted a quick get away during the week. We were exhausted after getting lost in miami (missed the tunnel) and found that the ship was really too loud, most of the time. The pa system was too loud and the music, was too loud. The people speaking over the intercom had such thick hispanic accents, that they could not be understood in english, they spoke too fast! It was ridiculous! Can't stand the ...

Good 1st cruise; mildly annoying pressures

This was just a first basic cruise to get our feet wet, figuratively speaking. We were overall pleased, and are now interested in cruising again someday; but really didn't like how we were nickel-and-dimed constantly. Additional tipping opportunities were constantly presented to us, required to pay for photos (would've been nice to have at least one included), expensive shore activities ($20 for ...

Lack of Invitation to Teen Activities

Our 3-day weekend cruise was fantastic. My only real complaint was the lack of invitation Teen Activities. There is a teen lounge and scheduled teen activities, but no announcements were made about these events. Almost none of the teens on-board participated in any event. Being a teenager on-board is awkward, since most of the activities are either tailored for adults or young kids. ...

This cruise was chosen to celebrate 20 plus years of friendship. The embarkation was smooth, but the disembarkation was not as smooth. The disconnect came when we had to pack up our Halloween costumes before the party was over in order to set our suitcases outside our stateroom. All sailed guests (over the age of 18) were welcomed to provide their email address to keep in touch after leaving the ...

Good Weekend Cruise!

I chose this cruise for a quick getaway for fun and relaxation. Ports of call included Coco Cay and Nassau Bahamas. The check-in process was a breeze and took no more than 30 mins since I previously check-in online. Upon seeing the ship, I could tell that it is 20 years old and did not have a overhaul since 2005 since the exterior had rust stains and the cabin was a little worn. On the contrary ...

Went on the October 23rd cruise out of Miami. Boarding was fine...smooth even. The ship itself is fine, although laid out a bit weird. Once you adjust to that it's easy to get around. Our cabin was ok, although the housekeeper was not around for the whole first day. The staff speaks very little English, most were rude, and many would actually cut you off while walking without acknowledging ...

Everything about the trip/cruise was wonderful!!! The kind cabin and dinner staff was like family bout time I left to return home. My ocean view cabin was clean and spacious. I really enjoyed looking forward to the sunrises and sunsets daily off the deck. My group is still talking about the trip a week after we all got home. Loved every bit of it!!!
