Was expecting that Princess cruise line was an upgrade for my first Mediterranean cruise. I was terribly disappointed. Food was mediocre and the internet service was horrible. The internet was so horrible that the staff even joked about it during the nightly shows. I expected a higher level of quality food and menu options from Princess and was sorely disappointed. Service was good for the most ...
We chose this two week Mediterranean cruise as a replacement to a canceled cruise during Covid. We booked our flights are transfers and the cruise all through Princess via our travel agent. Are flights on Vueling Were just fine. However when we arrived in Rome and finally found the princess rap, she informed us that we were in terminal three and our driver was in terminal one and she didn’t know ...
The online checkin was easy. The Medallion app worked fine at home. However, on ship it’s another story.
Princess offered free Covid testing in Rome, a very nice service. After testing negative we were guided to the checking area. This area was a mess! There were many different lines that were confusing to most passenger. We were booked on a S3 suite which included priority embarkation. No ...
I'm only giving this 3 stars because it was excellent value for money (ie cheap) but almost everything about Princess and the ship, in general, was a bit of a disaster. I was glad there was room for 1000 more guests as that kept the ship bearable. I would like to see this ship full! Despite not having a full ship the service was terrible, with a lack of trained staff in way too many areas. ...
I only did a 7 day cruise from Rome to Athens. But the ship had just come from the Caribbean and was doing a 21-day total Mediterranean itinerary, so many of the passengers had boarded earlier and/or were departing later.
Great ship, great food, great service, and awesome fellow passengers. However, the servers themselves did not come across as very personable, just professional. Probably ...
-Foods:
From good to excellent. The serving potions in the dinning rooms are smaller but of course, you can always order more.
-Services:
Beyond expectations (state room staffs, dining room staffs, services desk staffs). I lost all my baggage at the airport, and get on board with just my backpack. Service desk people gave us $250 for emergency spending and three days later, all my ...
The reason I choose this cruise was to see Gibraltar and Pisa. They canceled the 2 most important ports during the Cruise. I had two great excursions canceled. I hope I have a chance in the future to see them. But the pots of Marseille and Genoa we great, The tour guides were excellent but we needed a little more shopping time. 20 to 30 minutes is really not enough time to purchase gifts. The ship ...
Love crossings, and have been on many.
This cruise started with the worst embarkation, EVER. 2 hours online in fll. No air conditioning, no water, no seats. No one cared. Wheel chairs kept being put in front of us, while we continued to stand. They were SITTING. They could wait their turn in line. One man fainted!
Finally got on the ship, and a beautiful ship it was. Help, the BEST ever, in ...
This is second time for the TA with "back to back" on to Rome....leaving Fort L. was a giant hairball...long, slow, hot lines and don't even ask about the mess getting set up on Medallion (which caused me to swear off Princess forever)...but once onboard my only issue was cabin location (upgraded to just behind the eyebrow so no view forward) and both beds were mostly "squashed" on the edges ...
This was our first transatlantic cruise and we were concerned that we would be bored with so many sea days. Not to worry, Aaron and his staff made every effort to keep us busy. We did have an issue with no internet for the first 10-11 sea days. Although, I sympathize with the previous post, why would anyone go on any cruise expecting to conduct 10’s of thousands of business on a cruise? ...
