My husband and I got married in the courthouse swearing we would have a wedding eventually! Wellllll 3 years later we decided to use the money we were saving to go on a trip! We chose this journey across the atlantic and we are so happy we did we absolutely loved it! the only small negative is that the water was too rough to pull into ponta del gata so we were at sea for like 7 days straight. Not ...

I chose this cruise for the transatlantic itinerary. We did our first TA last year on a different line and loved it. We tried to book it a year out onboard a different NCL ship but it was sold out. Kept looking online and eventually snagged a guarantee minisuite. After final payment and closer to sailing, the prices dropped and we upgraded ourselves to a Haven spa minisuite. We couldn’t be happier ...

It was only an okay cruise

I did a back to back and cruised the Baltic capitals and continued with the transatlantic. The cabins are exceedingly small, the food was only OK, and unless you had hours to spend in the restaurant a lot of the meals were eaten at the buffet. The specialty restaurants were a joke. All they were were overpriced OK restaurants. I will say though, the activity hosts were awesome and they made the ...

Overall a great experience

We chose this cruise because it ended in New Orleans, right across the lake from our home town of Slidell. We have never been to Europe and thought it would be a good opportunity to see our roots, and loved the idea of a transatlantic crossing. We flew on our own to Copenhagen two days early, and thank goodness we did because our flights got delayed due to weather and took many more hours ...

No management

As a recommendation from close friends we were convinced that this would be the prefect way to get "out feet wet" with cruising. Our friends had been on many cruises before this and certainly knew the ropes. What we found was endless lines of people for every event ranging from mandatory passport inspections, to dining (even with reservations), to entertainment, to going to our planned ...

Never again - following the Danforth family review

First, read the Danforth family review. No need for me to repeat everything there. It is ALL correct - even a bit mild. Overall, organization was lacking. Processes were disorganized; we heard the word "cluster" quite a few times. The biggest surprise (of many) was the churlish attitude of most of the staff. Few smiles, uncaring (even after pouring coffee on my wife's lap!), angry that ...

Cruise ship terrible and slow service

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

Itinerary. Ship is too small inside to accommodate over 3500 guests. Service sucked. Food was mediocre. Wont go on Norwegian again ever. No world series showed which was not a good idea. Cruise director sucked. Halloween costumes party should of been in Theater. Bad organization with everything. Venues not enough space to accommodate guests. Lines too long. Dining room service 2 hours to ...

This MIGHT be our last time cruising

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

We used our cruise next and invited our niece and nephew to come with us. I fixed our itinerary for at least a 1-2 night stay before embarkation. The date to board was on the 11th of October. My wife made arrangements with NCL knowingly that the agent will at LEAST get us an early arrival on the 10th. After getting confirmation via e-mail on the 24th of August, that our arrival time was at 8:00pm ...

Exceptional- I would do it again

I chose this cruise based upon the ports, and it did not disappoint. This was such a wonderful cruise! The ports are phenomenal- I just wish we had more time in each. For me the highlights of the ship itself were the thermal spa and the food (taste or savor- same menu and so very good!). I want to do it all again! I went on the NCL excursion to Berlin and it was a long day, but well worth ...

Great itinerary

Great itinerary Copenhagen was beautiful and very walkable Embarkation- make sure your cab drops you at the right terminal ( 1 or 2 as stated on your ticket) Getting off at the ports of call is challenging at best. Not very organized for general exiting the ship. Shore excursions on the ship are way over priced for what you get. We went through TJ travel and had a lovely tour in ...
