Norwegian Cruise Line - Never Again!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

We chose this cruise because of the port stops of St Thomas and Nassau Bahamas. Unfortunately, they didn’t take us to either port. The only two stops we made were San Juan, Puerto Rico where there was very little to see or do and Tortola British Virgin Islands, which is a very small island. We took a bus around the island, stopped at a beach and that was basically all they had at that ...

Disappointed

We chose this cruise line and this particular ship because of all of the onboard activities. The disappointment began on the first day seeing the free fall water slide was not available. The slide was never repaired in the 7 days on the ship. The other activities onboard like bowling, skeeball, pool, darts, etc were ridiculously priced. ($6.00 for a game of bowling per person). We tried to ...

We chose this cruise because all of the extras that Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL) were throwing in if we booked by a certain time. Here is the good..... The food on board was excellent and so was the entertainment. We liked the "free style dining" theme on the boat. The phone app that we downloaded was excellent as well. Even though Margaritaville had a $15 up charge it was still a good ...

I choose this cruise to be able to go to several ports in the carribean and enjoy the beach and sunshine. Spent countless hours planning each day, and finally embarkation day arrives. The ship doesn't set sail until 6pm, two hours past the when it was supposed to leave. We aren't even informed of the delay until 4:30pm, 30 minutes after we were supposed to leave and when we're all beginning to ...

Before late 2017 I had never been on a cruise. I had never been to the Caribbean. Since 2017 I have been on six NCL cruises. Each had different challenges. This cruise had a great many challenges which started before we even left port. Someone called in a bomb threat and they evacuated the terminal and we left the port late. We went on to Puerto Rico, one of my favorite spots. We ended up ...

WORST CRUISE EVER!!!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

We chose this cruise line because we wanted to try a different one for our 20th year anniversary. HUGE MISTAKE!!! To start we only made 2 of our 4 stops. First missed stop was due to the weather which was poor planning because the forecast was the same before we left Miami or just greed because NCL did not want to pay to reroute us elsewhere. Missed stop #2 was due to a sick passenger which i ...

Replaced the Cuba cruise that was canceled. Breakaway is large ship, Compliments Large bathrooms in cabin Entertainment was great Concerns: Smokey Casino 10 TVs in sports bar but only one game on, staff said that was all that they could get. Having to make reservations at entertainment was a joke and waste of time. Entertainment would should sold out but if you ...

First time on Norwegian. Wanted try try something different. Boy was that a mistake ! I go on a cruise to relax, eat good food and hopefully be entertained onboard. The destinations are secondary (but important). The good - my cabin was nice and my attendant was terriffic. The staff at the service desk was good too. Some of the people in the restaurants were also good. But others seemed to not ...

Our worst Norwegian experience

This cruise was gifted to me, as I enjoy the casino in an ample way. So the cruise was offered for myself and a guest to enjoy an interior room for said time and ship. We had no choice in the date or location, or which ship took us. Even so, that was obviously exciting and fun. To go on an unexpected cruise , and to get such a huge discount. ( we opted to pay for an upgrade, and you still need ...

We picked this cruise for the Itinerary and the features on the Breakaway. Embarkation went smoothly and we were on the ship in no time. Our cabin was ready and quite comfortable. A Ocean View which provides more space than an Inside. The ship, overall, was very clean. You could see workers cleaning 24/7. One big, big problem with the Breakaway is smoke in the Casino. I spent a lot of time ...
