I go on a cruise once a year - to relax and enjoy excellent views, amenities and service - in short - to be pampered. I'm willing to pay for that luxury and do so willingly. What I don't do is pay good money to stand in lines for 20 minutes to get a beverage, to have waiters totally ignore 90% of the people on the decks and to have bartenders be rude.

This opinion is based on my past experience with my 2 previous Norwegian cruises. I sailed on both the Getaway and the Escape and found the staff was more attentive, professional, always smiling and ready to serve.
