My wife and I have traveled throughout Europe, South America and the Caribbean and have experienced some of the finest cruises available throughout the world. The cruise we just completed was a tremendous disappointment. Here are our thoughts:
* The ship itself was absolutely beautiful. Very nicely furnished, spacious room (we had a cabin with a balcony). But the flow was a nightmare. Like most ...
We booked with Holistic Holidays at Sea for their annual vegan cruise. We were keen to see the speakers they were featuring. One of them we were looking forward to just didn't show up yet a substitute was provided. Regardless, we were disappointed that Chef AJ didn't make it.
The embarkation was a nightmare. At least an hour long wait in line to get thru the security scanners. Some of ...
I was a little apprehensive before embarking on this cruise due to the numerous negative reviews posted in January. However, none of my fears materialized.
One review stated that they waited 2 hours for their food to arrive at dinner. I am not sure what happened with them, but we were attended to quickly, the food arrived within a nice span of time, and the serving staff was friendly and ...
We have taken 6 cruises with 3 different cruise lines, This was our least favourite for multiple reasons
MSC and our travel agent failed to inform us that there would be 2000 vegan cruisers on this cruise and they would be taking 100% of the early dining. All other passengers were restricted to 8:30 p.m. dining. ( really who eats a meal at 8:30 p.m.? !!!! )
All of our documentation ...
Overall, I loved the MSC Divina and I would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to take a cruise on it. However, it has its pros and cons in each category.
Cabin: This category has no cons, my cabin was incredible. I had a balcony room and it was a great size for a cruise ship, even bigger than some hotel rooms I have stayed in. The bathroom was also great and the shower had a great ...
We have been cruising for the last 12 years, in Europe, the Caribbean, many times. We chose MSC to check on a different cruise line.We went on the 3 nights to the Bahamas, and it was a birthday gift from my husband. It began all wrong, 2 hours to check in, I have never seen a line so long in a cruise to check in, it was terrible. It looks like they don't have enough personnel.
The ship is ...
This was cruise #4 for my wife (27) and I (29). First two were Royal Caribbean. We were on the MSC Seaside in November 2019 and had a great experience. The ship was beautiful, food was great, etc. However, we were supposed to be some of the first people to go to MSC Ocean Cay on that November cruise on MSC Seaside, but the island was deemed not ready. We were given future cruise credit to ...
We just got off a three day cruise on the MSC Divina and had a wonderful time and experience!! It was our first time cruising with MSC. Here are some of our thoughts on the cruise.
The embarkment process was fairly routine. We arrived around noon and got in line to check in. It seemed a little slow, maybe took about an hour to get us checked in. We got a boarding group number and had to wait ...
To begin with, this is a beautiful ship - my mom treated six of us to 3 cabins with balconies and the rooms were nice, the ship appeared to be well cared for, the food was wonderful, the staff excellent and with the exception that there was NEVER a deck chair to be had, all was going very well for us. In regards to the deck chairs, you would think that with the countless daily announcements in ...
Dining- Bravo! Compliments go to the Entire Black Crab serving staff. A special thank you to Agus and Vivek. They made us feel like family during the entire cruise! They would be the reason that we would come back and do another cruise on the Divina ship.
Most of the time the food at the Black Crab was above average but there were some items that were less than desirable. One being the clam ...
