Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Reflection

This was the last few stops that we hadn’t done. Our wait staff was excellent but I found a few nights that I ate a few appetizers. One night we ate at the buffet. Now granted I wasn’t feeling great but I didn’t enjoy my meal there. Our stateroom fellow was wonderful. Excursions were good except for - Cartagena Sea Rumba. The vendors in Cartegena are very aggressive and do not take no ...

We love sailing with celebrity. The food selections were delicious and service was wonderful. We thought the shows were good but not excellent. We prefer more broadway type entertainers. The comics were very funny. We were in a sky suite and after 5 days they upgraded us to a larger suite as the sky suite was under the galley and the noise level was not good for sleeping. One negative was they ...

Great Celebrity experience as always. Main dining food was lacking.

Celebrity service from the staff was excellent as it usuallyalways is. A cut above. Ship was in great shape and looked clean and ready for everyone to have fun. Plenty of things to do as always during the days at sea. Entertainment was ok, not as good as we have seen on RCCL recently. We had late dining and the food was average. The last time we were on a sister ship(3 years ago) the food ...

Very good 70th birthday cruise

We chose this sailing because it was my birthday and we like the ship Reflection. We stayed in #8259 and had a wonderful cabin stewart. This cabin was great, very close to elevator but not too close. Before getting on the ship, we had the security line, which is always slow and then the Celebrity checkin lines. We are Elite, so I thought we would have had smaller lines, but that was not the ...

Interesting itinerary

We chose this cruise due to its somewhat itinerary. We generally don’t like western Caribbean but Costa Rica, Panama and Columbia were new to us. The result? We loved Cartagena and appreciated the Panama Canal excursion but would not return to either Costa Rica or Colon again. There are only so many sloths one wants to see (Costa Rica) or the absolute slums and dirt in Colon make us wonder how ...

Good port of calls, service & general ship look

Great cruise overall, but was disappointed they've put frosting across the windows in the women's changing room sauna meaning you can't see the ocean while cruising. I was disappointed as that was one of the main reasons I choose this ship and the advertisements were not updated to reveal you could only cruise and view the ocean from the sauna from the Persian Gardens which you have to pay extra ...

Nice cruise, great people, not so good shore excursions

This was our retirement cruise, 11 days and exotic ports of call (or so we thought). We thoroughly enjoyed the ship and most importantly for us the people; both guests and staff. Celebrity definately is a cut above other cruiselines we have experienced; the food was very good to excellent. The buffet although repetative was good and handled the number of people easily. We purchased the ...

This was our (my husband and I and we are in our 40's) 11th cruise and our first on Celebrity and we are on the fence about doing the 2nd one that we had already booked before we took this one. We usually do RC, which I know owns Celebrity, but we think we prefer RC from an entertainment and food aspect. Really, just the overall vibe to tell you the truth. The ship was in excellent condition, ...

We had an aft cabin on Celebrity Reflection, deck 7. The room stewards hang out in the aft so we had great service and enjoyed chatting with them. When traveling north, the sun was overwhelming on our veranda. But it made for fabulous sail-aways. The food on Celebrity was top-notch, as always. We ate once in the Tuscan Grille, once in Qsine and the rest in the main dining room. I highly ...

This cruise was booked onboard our 2017 cruise so we got a great deal on a concierge class cabin, our friends joined us for their first celebrity cruise they typically do inside but we were able to get them a good deal on an oceanview. We are all in the 54-64 age group and seasoned cruisers. DH and I are Elite loyalty class members. Embarkation - Port Everglades continues to be one of the ...
