It has been approximately 15 years since we sailed with Carnival.
I signed up for this cruise to scuba dive in Grand Cayman and Cozumel. Cozumel was cancelled and replaced with a "Fun" day at sea. NOT !
We have been on 20+ cruises to date on Carnival, Princess, Celebrity, Oceania, Norwegian, Viking, and Holland America.
The overall observation with this Carnival cruise is that ...
My husband and sailed out of Galveston on the Breeze Sept 24, 2017. This was the second time this year so that should speak volumes about how much we love the Breeze! The ship is amazingly beautiful! We stayed in an ocean suite that was gorgeous, roomy and comfortable. We dined in the Sapphire dining room the servers were warm and friendly. As usual they called us by name almost immediately. ...
Went on this cruise with family and had the best time! Our Steward Harry was great, rooms cleaned well and always ice in the ice bucket! Food was great and try the steakhouse! Well worth the money!! Loved the thrill theatre so much I did it twice. Embarkation went very quickly and the sail away party was the greatest! The cruise director kept everyone entertained!
It was way to hot to do much ...
We were invited to join a large family group on this cruise. We took our grandchildren (3 & 1) to the Dr Seuss breakfast which was wonderful. The kids enjoyed it, lots of photo opportunities and fun food. The staff was very helpful working with food allergies the children have. The Seuss-a-paloza story reading was a blast, both children enjoyed it with the 3 year old up on stage with daddy for ...
We did not choose the cruise first off - daughter got married on board. That part of the trip was not too bad.
Rooms were quite tight and not particularly cheap for the value to cost ratio. In face we did order a lower level room (seasick wife) but we could barely turn around. Was a balcony room so paid more for that but could hardly turn around.
Everything costs extra unless you pay ...
We always cruise on my Husband's Birthday and this was the only Ship out of Galveston that we could get an accessible Stateroom on.
We drove to Galveston on the day of the Cruise, since we had sailed out of Galveston several times and there was no need to explore the city again.
Checkin was rather speedy and we were in our Stateroom shortly thereafter.
Breakfast in the Lido was good, so ...
This was a last minute cruise booked for me and my husband after getting off of Elation in August 2017. It was a great (book within 2 weeks) deal that we could not pass up. Not to mention it was Carnival Live with Chris Tucker (my favorite comedian of all time).Well who would have thought a couple of major Hurricanes would have occurred before we sailed. We were worried because one of our ports ...
We chose this cruise to the eastern Caribbean because we wanted to go to Key West, which was supposed to be our first port of call. Unfortunately, that was cancelled due to the devastation of Irma. So, we had an extra "fun day at sea" on our way to the Bahamas.. We didn't really have much fun on the sea days, but maybe we just didn't try hard enough? The evening shows were very good, we did enjoy ...
We chose this cruise for the ports. Unfortunately Key West out due to the Hurricane Freeport was not good nothing close. To ship Nassau was a great stop. So really it was a one port cruise We wanted to try a bigger ship so the Breeze was a good choice. The crew were very friendly and helpful. We had my time dinning and we're lucky to have the same team wait on us each night. We food ...
