Sailed out of Fort Lauderdale (1st time) and what a breeze. Embarkation was smooth and concierge class and above is the only way to go. Disembarkation was just as smooth. Lounge with coffee/juice and pastries was available on the ship while we waited for our time to disembark. The customs system at the port is smooth (picture taken) which eliminates the long line ups to be interviewed by custom ...
Best cruise ever - my 45th with Celebrity. Everyone out did themselves to make our trip the best as it possibly could be. Embarkation was a breeze. Was on the ship by 1030.
Ship was the cleanest and friendliest of all of the Solstice ships I have been on. Fantastic attention to detail.
The meals were exceptional, everywhere! I would highly recommend going to the Dining Room for lunch ...
Really good itenerary on an excellent ship.
We were Aqua Class and Blu was excellent. Had the premium package and the wine was sublime. Enjoyed a good meal in the MDR with friends. Did not use the speciality restaurants. Buffet lunch on the rear deck was a great spot. Wife demanded the healthy cafe for breakfast
St Thomas was okay. Did a snorkel cruise on a sailboat with Captain Mike which ...
This was our first time on Celebrity and we thought it was better than others we have experienced ( NCL, RCCL and Princess ). Great mixed crowd, few children and great service from the time we entered the ship until the end. We enjoyed the main dining room and loved Murano. We were extremely disappointed in The Porch, but hey, that's bound to be a few glitches. Entertainment was good, especially ...
It has been a few years since we cruised on Celebrity so thought we would try it again, especially since we liked going to the ABC islands.
Arrived at the port at 11:15. Registration was fast and we were on the ship by 11:30.
The aft balcony room was great. Room attendant was super. Room was always cleaned and ice was always available. Concierge class hor dourves were not very ...
Well it has been a couple of weeks and I am finally finding time to sit down and write a review of our March 15, Silhouette 9-night Southern Caribbean cruise. I will hold no punches, but unfortunately (or fortunately) there are few punches to hold.
Day 1.
Our cruise started, as always, with embarkment. The Silly was docked at the new Terminal 25. My thoughts where we were finally going ...
Really enjoyed this 9 nt on Silhouette. Plenty of sea days to relax and interesting ports. Crew was awesome everywhere. Will miss the ones leaving and looking forward to seeing the others again. Anxious to see her after refurb next year for the 12 nt. EXCEPT for getting rid of Cellar Masters. Very sad about that. Have to wonder where we will find good wine when it isn't time for lunch or ...
We have sailed on the Silhouette previously. Love the ship, perhaps our favorite Celebrity Ship. We were in a Celebrity Suite. Check in at terminal 25 went quickly. We were on the ship about 10:30 AM. We proceeded to Michael's club and met Vanessa, the Michael's Club concierge. She was great and helped to facilitate multiple reservations. We also saw Rose, the Captains club Hostess. She ...
We had never been to the ABC's and wanted to check them out. We had been to Grand Cayman twice before so we only did a walk about but we did bus tours on the ABC's which were well organized and paced just right. They were colourful and we enjoyed seeing a wide area of the islands on the tours we took. Our dining room experience was enhanced by the Waiter and his assistant who worked as a team to ...
we had previously only cruised with P&O but felt their standards had slipped and decided to try Celebrity cruises. We cruises southern Caribbean and from start to finish the Staff made us welcome and help made our cruise. The layout of the ship was good and easy to get around considering the size of the ship. It was clean and food excellent in all areas. The entertainment was OK but not great, ...
