We enjoyed the ship - excellent shape. There were a lot of children running around and not taught to be polite and considerate of others in public. We made use of the adult only areas for quiet time. The major issue was screaming children in the dining room - what is the matter with parents?
Rotating dining rooms was different and enjoyable. Appreciated the casual dining attire, hubby was ...
My 6 year old, and 12 year old both had a blast. My 12 year old spent the vast majority of time at The Edge...we rarely saw her. My 6 year old was in love with meeting the princesses, going to the boutique, and swimming in the pool. My nearly 14 month hold, however, only went to the Edge a few times, and was bored the rest of the time. The horrible teens running around the ship, nearly ...
This was a little get away for my wife and myself. And our first Thanksgiving without children (our youngest is now 19 and too cool for us). We have been on four previous Disney cruises, and this was our second on the Dream. We flew in to Orlando the day before the Cruise and stayed at the Hyatt. We caught a cab to Downtown Disney to hang out for the afternoon and have dinner. The morning of ...
We picked Disney Cruise mainly because of the focus on younger kids. Based on all the reviews I've read this is supposed to be the best cruise for kids (with no casino and has many kids focused activities such as the Oceaneer Club and Lab.) This is our first cruise ever so I cannot compare it with other cruises. My original expectation was that the kids would spend most of the time in the youth ...

The Disney team went above and beyond expectations in taking care of our family and ensuring we got on the cruise on time. This is a first class operation and we are looking forward to our next cruise (our 6th with Disney).
Attention is paid to every detail so the cruise can go as smooth as possible. Our server at the dinner was outstanding and the kids kept wanting to go back to learn more ...
Wonderful trip...all you hear and read is true...first class in every way and worth the upcharge...Disney does cruising the way it used to be....in every way. From the moment you board until the day you disembark its an experience you will not forget. Pristine immaculate ship, more classic liner style in design. Food in main dining room was presented as art work, and prepared to perfection, and ...
We (myself, 39yo, and 2 daughters 7 & 9yo) sailed the Disney Halloween High Seas cruise. Initially boarding the cruise everything seemed wonderful. We embarked at 11:30 am but we were unable to go to our rooms until 1:30pm. It seemed to take awhile for our luggage to arrive to the rooms, but we did have fun because we were so excited just exploring the ship.
I have sailed 3x previously with ...
Ok, this is was my 4th Disney cruise, and each time we do it, I have to wonder why I didn't get a longer trip. I could very easily get a 14 day cruise on this ship and only then maybe I would be willing to leave when it was all done.
The service is amazing from top to bottom, the kids areas are completely worth the extra cost, the lack of smoking and casinos makes it very family friendly ...
