Great for kids and families, but was expecting more from a service standpoint

I'll start by saying that the overall cruise experience was great. Disney does a great job keeping the sail organized from check-in to departure and all points in between. The amenities for the kids is great from the kids club to the pools and water slides and aqua duck. Shows and entertainment were top notch and very well done! While our stateroom service was impeccable, i was a little ...

Our first and probably last Disney cruise

Our grandchildren are 5 and 8, and so we decided if we were ever going to do a Disney cruise we'd better go while the kids were young enough to really enjoy it. We bit the bullet and paid more for a 3 night Disney Bahamas cruise than we did for a 7 night Royal Caribbean Mediterranean cruise. We've cruised probably a dozen or more times so we're definitely not new to the cruise experience. ...

Family of four from the upper Midwest choose Disney because we have been to Disney World several times and have always enjoyed the experiences. Traveled with my husband, 12 year old and 10 year old sons. Cabin on the Disney Dream: He booked a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah. Plenty of storage in the closet and dresser drawers, suitcases x 4 all fit under the bed. Hair dryer ...

2nd Cruise, We will not go on another!

First off our room was so small we were always tripping over each other, the food was okay nothing special, dinner service took FOREVER! There is literally one drink station for the whole ship. The pools are to small for the amount of people on board. The hot tub was always full of teenagers the whole 3 days! We will not be going on another Disney cruise. Save your money!! The workers were very ...

I chose this cruise for a short getaway for myself and my two grandsons. Getting aboard was a breeze, it turned into a zoo from there and stayed that way until we left the ship. No where to sit in Cabanas or at the pool. Pools and hot tub much too overcrowded for me to leave my grandsons alone and go to the adult area. Pool frequently closed because of "accidents". I was really put off by all the ...

I chose this cruise because of Castaway Cay. We had been there before and really enjoyed it. It was great this cruise, the weather was warm, the island is beautiful, a great place just to relax and enjoy the beach. For me, it is the highlight of the cruise. The ship is beautiful, the crew is wonderful. The pools are extremely small and crowded, having to be closed frequently for "accidents".The ...

Was so looking forward to this family vacation until the nightmare began when we checked in!! I booked this cruise in July for sailing in January. I have 4 kids so of course I booked two adjoining staterooms on deck 8 which I wrote down and reasearched the location of while on thhe phone with the representative. The booking agent transposed the numbers on the second cabin when apparently ...

After several months of stress my husband and I needed a small get away and we booked a last minute cruise with Disney. We had an amazing time and the Disney cruise line lives up to high Disney Standards, from the ease of boarding, to our stateroom, to the food and entertainment, it was amazing. Disembarking in Nassau was easy. There were many excursions to choose from. It was a little ...

Disney Nightmare... Never Again!

I have never done a Disney Cruise and had heard how superior it was to all cruise lines, nothing could be farther from the truth! We (my daughter and myself along with another mother daughter team) had just finished a 5 day trip to Disney World which was fantastic and were super excited to go on this cruise. The ship was ok not a lot to do except listen to Disney music watch Disney shows play ...

A Disney Dream is the best dream, except its not a dream, but its real.

I am 13 years old, and my 11 year old sister, my mom, my dad and I (Then 12) went to my first cruise on the disney dream. I was put in charge of researching our trip, which meant hours of studying websites (Including this one, thanks!) and seeing a lot of good reviews. So I was hyped! Even though we were traveling during the off season, it was still much busier due to the Atlanta track ...
