We have done over 30 cruises, 28 on Princess. The ship and staff are outstanding. We loved the charm of the ship even though it is showing some signs of wear and tear (Princess Theater seats need to be reupholstered.) Club Class meals were a highlight. The food and service were outstanding. Every night Giovanni, the Head Waiter, made a special dish.

We like the service, excellent personal, warm and welcoming and we fill like at home.
Great dining and entertainment.
Embarkation and disembarkation was very smoothly.

We love the Grand Princess. It's getting a bit old but for some fleets, it is a perfect ship. The ship is still rather large but it's also small enough that you can easily find your way to anywhere you need to get to. I love Desk 5 and the Piazza area. We cruise Princess a lot. This was the first time that I would actually comment that the boat needs to go back into dry dock and get fully painted and the rooms refreshed. Normally their boats sparkle. Things we clean and maintained as well as they could but some attention is needed. One negative would be that the couch in our room was very worn out and needed to be changed out.

Booked this on one of their last minute deals. The price was right. The service was excellent throughout’ the crew and they were extremely friendly and helpful. We wanted to cruise out of a different port, so we chose San Francisco. We enjoyed the entire cruise, including multiple sea days in a row (very restful), shore excursions with a lot of adventure, and a debarkation tour of San Francisco that allowed us to walk across the Golden Gate Bridge.
